Brooke's Hockey Chronicles:

Rooting for the underdog since 1985.

01 October 2005

Bruins, 1-0.

Remember last year's World Series winners? They just lost the pennant to the New York Yankees. The Red Sox have to hope they can get the Wild Card slot.

It doesn't feel like quite the right temperature, but it's time to watch hockey on TV again. Sergei Samsonov is playing tonight, which excites me most about tonight's Bruins game against the Rangers. That, and getting to see Michael Nylander again.

The OLN "We believe in hockey" ad -- not good. Potential with the footage, but the multi-voiced pledge-like "We believe . . ." mantra isn't sharp enough.
